DATgenius was designed to help you score significantly higher on your actual DAT. Our tests are overall more challenging than the actual DAT. No question we ask you is harder than a question you could see on the DAT, however there are less easy, or ‘gimme’ questions.
Remember, DATgenius is a learning tool: easy questions on practice tests don’t teach you anything, and therefore aren’t valuable. Focus on learning from our questions and genius solutions.
Your DATgenius ‘estimated DAT score’ is supposed to be an approximate metric to indicate to you how you would score on the actual DAT. Because the difficulty of our tests are slightly harder than the actual DAT, and we want to supply you a more accurate estimate, our scoring system does not follow approximate scoring rubrics you may have seen on the 2007 or 2009 ADA DAT, or other practice DAT materials. Our tests are each scaled according to their difficulty.
Ultimately, you shouldn’t be focused on what your scores are, but rather what you know and what you still need to learn. Use our tests to help you gain as much knowledge as much as you can – that will lead to a higher actual DAT score.
I’m Joel, and I created DATgenius. You can read more about my background as a DAT instructor, and the DATgenius team here! I also created Roadmap Prep, a comprehensive online video course on how to tackle your dental and medical school interviews.
